On December 12, 2024, I alongside Un Chin Magazine, Dominican Writers Association, Dominican Artists Collective and Uptown Collective, produced a holiday networking event for artists and creatives in our community!

NYLFF PRE-MIXER 2023
It was super exciting to host the New York Latino Film Festival Pre-Mixer!As an Artistic Producer for DAC, I was able to collaborate with NYLFF and other organizations to highlight a lot of Dominican filmmakers, actors, and creatives selected in the festival, in addition to other Latinos whose films we wanted to highlight.

On April 16th 2023, the Dominican Artists Collective had the pleasure of collaborating with Intar Theater to host a community event to promote the play Vámonos by Julissa Contreras.
DAC X NUEVAYORKINOS
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Nuevayorkinos on a virtual exhibition titled DE LO MIO, celebrating the the extensive history of New York City's Dominican Diaspora.
BEES & HONEY
On June 3rd, 2023, as an Artistic Producer for the Dominican Artists Collective, I had the pleasure of collaborating with MCC theater with community outreach in support of the play Bees and Honey, written by Dominican Playwright Guadalís Del Carmen. We had the pleasure of hosting a mixer in celebration of the community that this play is intended to represent, and mobilizing to get our community out to see this beautiful play.

The New York Theatre Workshop
On the night of January 22nd, the Dominican Artists Collective gathered at The Tank to share new works by members of the collective. Works included readings of plays, films, and musical performances.

In the Fall of 2019, a small group of Dominican artists gathered in Washington Heights to envision a world where their stories would be honored and celebrated in mainstream media. With this goal in mind, the founders of the Dominican Artists Collective (DAC) have dedicated themselves to build a home for multidisciplinary Dominican artists which include actors, directors, writers, producers, visual artists, musicians, theater and film makers. The members of the group create original work that showcases the multidimensional facets of Dominican identity and culture both here in the states and in the Dominican Republic.
